Children are deprived of access to Education. This worsens the inequalities in education outcomes for children from underprivileged backgrounds. In the current environment, digitization is one of the solutions to bridge this educational gap. However, the existing economical condition of these poor marginalized people is the threatening challenge to avail these digital uses.
Hence, PADASALAI initiated ‘After School Tuition’ programs aimed to help reduce this divide by supporting the deprived children through initiatives in the educational sector, targeting the needs of the deprived community. METTUKADU village comes under the Maraimalainagar Municipality Town where Scheduled Tribes (ST) community is thickly populated. This village children are studying in Sattamangalam and Peramanur Primary and High Schools.
