green leaf foundation, gossaigaon is a grassroots nonprofit based in kokrajhar district, assam, working to expand opportunity in the rural and tribal belts of northeast india. we focus on education, health, livelihoods, and environmental stewardship because these are the pillars that help a community stand on its own feet. what this really means is we run programs that solve practical, everyday problems. we help children access quality education, support women in building sustainable incomes, promote better farming practices, and step in during emergencies. our work stays close to the people, guided by what communities say they need, not by top-down assumptions. we’re a legally registered organization with 12a, 80g, csr, and all required statutory registrations. our team includes experienced educators, social workers, and local youth who understand the ground reality. the goal is simple: build long-term, community-led change that outlives any single project. green leaf foundation is led by president mizanur rahman and supported by a diverse advisory group. together, we’re trying to make sure that rural families—especially children and women—have a fair shot at a better life.
