lead at krea university is an action-oriented research centre housed within the institute for financial management and research (ifmr), a not-for-profit society and the sponsoring body of krea university. with a legacy of more than two decades, lead leverages rigorous research, innovation, and co-creation to address complex development challenges across india. the institution has implemented over 300 research, evaluation, and impact measurement projects, building deep expertise in mixed-methods research, large-scale field studies, and advanced quantitative and qualitative analytics. as a collaborative hub, lead brings together multidisciplinary experts to generate actionable insights for industry, government, and the social impact ecosystem. lead’s work spans public health, livelihoods, financial inclusion, digital governance, gender, and social protection, and the organization is widely recognized for providing non-partisan strategic expertise, tailored m&e solutions, and technical support for piloting and scaling development programs. over the years, lead has partnered with a wide range of national and international stakeholders, including usaid, the michael & susan dell foundation, the bill & melinda gates foundation, the world bank, national rural livelihoods mission, ministry of electronics and it, nasscom foundation, ambuja foundation, infosys foundation, uncdf, avpn, ande, act grants, among several others.
