mukti is a non-profit socio-economic organization that has been working in south 24 pgs, east medinipur, west medinipur, howrah, murshidabad, jhargram and in other parts of west bengal. the organization is registered as a trust with a vision to engage the largest number of volunteers to create grassroot level socio economic development organization that contributes towards sustainable development of people in need. mukti's mission is to work as a healer- aid for our society in the area of health, water & sanitation, education & empowerment, agricultural reforms, livelihood & sustainability, environment & resilience, rights & special needs, integrated development and disaster risk recovery. the organization has positively impacted over 10 lakh beneficiaries, covering about 1.5 lakh households, including 30,000 shg women and 10000+ [ak1] [tc2] children, irrespective of caste, creed, age and gender with an objective to uplift the grassroots who are in penury, social exclusion and myriad discrimination and are extremely vulnerable to climate hazards like strong storms, cyclic cyclone and frequent dreadful disasters adding to resource dearth, penury, vulnerability and violence. the organization is supported by more than 120+ enterprises from all over the world.
